Ed Norwood

Why I Started Writing:

I initially started writing as an outlet and response to closed ministry doors.  Around 2004, I heard my pastor say, “You are called to preach whether people call you to their church to preach.”  It was then I moved the pulpit from the church to the marketplace, sparked by a 2005 visit to speak in South Africa, where I had multitudes of Christian professionals ask me how to reach their marketplace for Christ.  Hence, Champions Unleashed (a non-profit) was birthed.  CU carried me as I built a business that would give me the financial freedom needed to travel and touch lives for the Kingdom.  My business “underwriter” (ERN Enterprises) was my “Leah,” but ministry (Champions Unleashed) was my “Rachel.” (Gen 29:20)

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

Stephen Arterburn, Jim Collins, Zig Ziglar, Gary Thomas, Gary Smalley, Gary Chapman, Bill Hamon, Apostle Eckhardt, Frank Damazio and Joyce Meyer.

Books I Have Written:

While I authored Champions Bytes e-devotionals from 2006-2012 (see attached), Giant Killers is my first manuscript presented for publishing.

What I'm Working On Now:

I am currently working on compiling the e-devotionals from the above years into a manuscript called, You Don’t Need a Pulpit to Pastor, which inspires the call of every believer to be fivefold ministry in the workplace.

In the future, I’d like to write spinoffs of Giant Killers (e.g., Marriage Killers)
