Why I Started Writing:
After nineteen consecutive years of home educating any number of my four children, I chose to lay down my chalk. Equipped with two degrees in Nutrition, choosing to write as a career wasn’t on my radar. But at the tail end of a woeful conversation with my husband in 2012 about our finances—story ideas rustling in my head—I impulsively offered a solution. “OK. I’ll write a book.” Reflecting on that moment, I realized it was God’s clear calling for me to write, to network with other industry professionals and to invest in learning the craft for publication. Several writer’s conferences and intensive writer’s retreats later resulted in the release of my debut inspirational romance, (November 2019) Call to Love. Here’s to many more happily ever afters!
