Why I Started Writing:

For as long as I can remember, I have been using my God-given gift of engaging with words. I wrote short stories during my childhood. By the time I reached high school, I was writing for the school newspaper and continued to do so during and after college. Then God gave me a talent in terms of editing, which I couple with my passion for writing. So, I suppose I started writing because I realized God had work for me to do that involves using words to communicate and to help others do the same. He has been multifaceted in using my gift by providing me with opportunities to serve as a biographical historian, copy editor, ghostwriter, news correspondent, poet, proofreader, and writer.

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

Some of the authors who have influenced me are Heidi Gaul, Katara Patton, Patricia Raybon, and Cynthia Ruchti–all who have written Christ-centered books as well as thought-provoking devotionals that appear in publications such as Our Daily Bread and Mornings With Jesus.

What I'm Working On Now:

I am currently completing my book titled Miracles, Signs, and Wonders: Acts of the Holy Spirit, scheduled to be released by Elk Lake Publishing. The book is an assemblage of slice-of-life, personal anecdotes that reflect how the Holy Spirit is with us in our everyday lives and during every situation, regardless of how simple or complex the issues are that we face.
