Why I Started Writing:

I love telling stories. To see the faces of the audience fully engaged and reacting to the narrative is a joy. When our children asked for a bedtime story, I began making up my own. My first book is an oral story created to help our youngest navigate some difficult struggles. Now I want to continue writing the stories that are in my head!

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

I read across all genres. Classics, biographies, suspense, mysteries you name it I love to read. But I particularly enjoy speculative. I used to sneak watch the original Star Trek when my mom wasn’t looking. Of course, C. S. Lewis and J. R. R. Tolkien were huge influencers as well as Karen Hancock, Kathy Tyers, Tosca Lee, Brandon Sanderson, and so many more.

Books I Have Written:

I have short stories in the anthologies, Whitstead Harvestide and Whitstead Summertide. I recently signed on to Elk Lake Publishing for my debut YA dystopian, The Bronze Circle.

What I'm Working On Now:

The Silver Towers, revisits the story of Jaydon in The Bronze Circle. Jaydon continues to lead his band of misfit teens into more adventures, this time rescuing the daughter of the man who betrayed him in The Bronze Circle.

I’m also working on a steampunk with a society that was driven to caves carved under New York City.
