Why I Started Writing:

I started writing because I had a story I wanted to tell about family, love, home, and the quiet ways we sometimes know things we cannot explain. Quiet Knowing grew from conversations among the women in my own family about moments of strong intuition we had experienced independently of one another. That idea became “the Knowing” shared by the Nolanton women and eventually grew into a story about second chances, faith, belonging, and finding your way home.

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

I am drawn to authors who write warm, character-driven stories about family, faith, relationships, and belonging. Writers whose work I admire include Lauren K. Denton and Amanda Cox. I especially enjoy stories in which ordinary lives, family connections, and quiet moments carry as much emotional weight as the larger events of the story.

Books I Have Written:

Quiet Knowing is the first novel in my Quiet series, a contemporary women’s fiction series with romance, family, faith, humor, and a touch of the unexplained through the Nolanton women’s inherited “Knowing.” I have also completed the second novel in the series, Quiet Forever, and am currently working on the third book, Quiet Belonging.

What I'm Working On Now:

I am currently editing Quiet Forever, the second book in the Quiet series, while beginning work on Quiet Belonging. The series continues the stories of Jade, Wyatt, their family, and the people who have become part of their lives, with the same focus on love, family, faith, humor, and the meaning of home.
