Why I Started Writing:

I write because I feel called to. I can't go a day without thinking about stories and jotting even a note down about one spinning in my head. Also, I love how stories inspire people and drawn them to the Ultimate Truth.

Busse (Christian fantasy), Brandon Mull (epic story worlds), Mary Weber (brave heroines), Derinda Babcock (Christian heroes), Betty J. Slade (heartfelt stories), Liz Kessler (mermaids, fairies, and healthy families), Angela Dorsey (horses and magic), and Linda Farmer Harris (brave heroes and heroines/amazing mentor).

 

Books I Have Written:

Sonji, a YA Christian fantasy, about a teenage girl and her magic horse is my first novel. Peaflower: a Princess and the Pea Retelling, a YA Christian fantasy novella, is about a mostly blind princess, her loyal and opinionated pet rat, and the cursed brother of her betrothed. In Looking at Life, a collection of by Wolf Creek Christian Writers Network (WCCWN), I have a short story, "The Missing Book" (under my short-lived pen name Silver Mist), and a short piece, “His Words, Our Words." I have a testimony in Twenty-Three Journeys to Christ compiled by Gregg Heid. In A Book of Remembrance: A Collection of Everyday Miracles, I have three true life stories ("Zombie Turkey;" "Icy Snow, Towropes, and Divine Intervention;" and "Ditches, Hillsides, and Prayer") and, in The Adventures of a Horse Named George, I have two fiction stories ("Nancy's Hat" and "Kat") - both collections were compiled by Lynn Moffett. I've also got short stories in three of Ye Olde Dragon Books’ anthology collections - The Invisible Files: Classic Monsters Anthology #4 ("The Invisible Boy"), Once Bitten...: Classic Monsters Anthology #5 ("The Pale New Kid"), and Up the Down Beanstalk: Fairytale Anthology #6 ("The Glowing Bean," releasing May 2026). And I have several pieces published under the Matter of Faith column of the Pagosa Sun’s Preview.
