Karen H. Richardson

Throughout her life, Karen observed the world as a running narrative and encounters with others as fodder for story. When she was in elementary school, she wrote a play and then got frustrated when her friends didn’t want to act in it. Over the years her desire to put words to paper (or on screen) to tell a story has never wavered, convincing her that it must be a God-given talent. A gift that should be cultivated to honor Him.

Karen believes in life-long learning. In 2012 she joined a tap-dancing class for adults. And recently, she and her husband, Jay, learned to play pickleball. With her creative bent, Karen has a background in communications, marketing, and project management. In addition to writing, Karen counts creating order out chaos as one of her talents.

She lives in Louisville, Kentucky. When not writing, she enjoys reading and gardening. She has one son, Cole, who recently graduated from college.
