Why I Started Writing:

A creative composition course in high school sparked an enthusiasm for writing that never diminished. I love weaving stories, encouraging with authenticity, and inviting readers to walk with me on the adventure Jesus has waiting. My passion is to inspire my readers to live their faith amidst the challenges of an imperfect world and to rediscover God’s unfailing love.

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

Many authors have left lasting impressions on me. Unquestionably the psalms of King David have touched me in every season of life—through heartache, joy, victory, and defeat. The late Henry Gariepy’s 100 Portraits of Christ influenced me in my Christian walk, and Warren Wiersbe’s Be series is an invaluable resource. Another favorite present day Christian author is Lori Roeleveld. I also love reading fiction, with Jan Karon, Dee Henderson, and Colleen Coble topping my list of favorites.

Books I Have Written:

My first book is The Secret of Jenny’s Portrait. In this Christian romantic suspense, a lovely portrait and a shocking discovery put faith to the ultimate test. When a dying man takes surgical nurse Jenny Thomas into his confidence, she’s determined to give FBI agent Joe Peterson information vital to the safety of American lives. But when Jenny discovers a secret hidden in a portrait of her, she realizes the FBI has only part of the puzzle. And the danger is just beginning.

My second book is Deadly Pretense. In the next book of this series, a routine assignment for TV reporter Kate Peterson thrusts her into the midst of a dangerous encounter—one spun from a web of deceit. When Kate’s world collides with Special Agent Ben Anderson, they join forces to uncover the truth. But time is running out.

What I'm Working On Now:

I’m currently writing my first devotional. The book is entitled You Are Not Alone: 40 Devotions Embracing God’s Nearness. I blog monthly and am developing ideas for a second devotional.
