Why I Started Writing:

Writing has always been a way for me to consolidate my thoughts and sort through feelings. I initially write for myself and then, look to see if it has any worth for other people. The current book is different though. I felt a pulling on my heart to begin writing Lion's Way. I had no idea that obeying this call would result in a manuscript on the topic of God and the martial arts. It is unlike anything I have ever written. I wrote it to serve God and his children.

Authors Who Have Influenced Me:

John C. Maxwell has a powerful and succinct ability to present view points, and his writing style helps me see the impact of concise writing. Louie Giglio is a master at weaving together Biblical principles and life’s challenges in a way that turns on the light bulb. He is always full powerful practicality that you can apply. Then, there is my sister and mentor. She has not authored a complete book yet, but her words have guided me in my spiritual growth through knowledge and positive anticipation on what God will do!

In the martial arts world, two my instructors have authored books on their approach to jujitsu and arnis. Professors Remy Presas and Wally Jay were men of character and great skill. Their books continue to guide me all these years later after I lost them. I am still finding new ideas from their books.

Books I Have Written:

In addition to the Lion’s Way manuscript, I have written two other manuscripts on the martial arts that I hope to submit in the near future for publication. During the years that I owned a martial arts school, I authored several guidebooks as well. I have also published the activity book for Lion’s Way.

What I'm Working On Now:

I am polishing up The Matrix of Protection for submission.
