Marsha J. Wright
Why I Started Writing:
I have always been a fiction reader and stories are important to me. The first book I wrote was the story of my mom, one of the first female military pilots—Maggie Ray WWII Air Force Pilot. From then on it seemed it took very little to start a story in my head. I have had a number of short stories published and have written Bible studies based on stories in the Bible. The Teen who Heard a Secret is my first fiction book and the background comes from my experience working with internationals.
Authors Who Have Influenced Me:
At this season of life I especially enjoy cozy mysteries and Biblical fiction. Favorite authors: Tessa Afshar, Lynne Austin, Coleen Coble, Connilyn Cossette, Mesu Andrews, Angela Hunt
Books I Have Written:
- Maggie Ray, WWII Air Force Pilot
- Homeless for the Holidays
- The Teen Who Heard a Secret
What I'm Working On Now:
I am currently working on a series of short stories called Sleuths in Harmony about a senior adult group who not only sing and present concerts but solve local mysteries.
